Love Island’s Josh leaves girlfriend Kaz in shock by admitting he would have LEFT the villa to watch England in the World Cup
Love Island’s Josh Denzel has confessed he would have given up his place in the villa if he could have watched England’s incredible run in the 2018 World Cup.
Appearing on Tuesday’s BBC Breakfast with girlfriend Kazimi ‘Kaz’ Crossley, the hunk admitted he and the rest of the villa were kept in the dark on the Three Lions progress, and as a football fan he finds missing out on the tournament hard to bear.
Josh and Kaz also admitted that it proved a shock seeing some of a vitriolic reactions to their relationship’s early days on social media, but after seeing their romance blossom many fans have come round.

Speaking to Dan Walker and Naga Munchetty about England’s World Cup run – which saw them make it to the semi final for the first time since 1990 – he said: ‘Don’t talk to me about that. I thought we were going to get to watch the games in there.
‘Maybe we’d get an update? We had nothing. Absolutely nothing.’
Kaz then added: ‘We didn’t know how far we got or nothing,’ with Josh chipping in: ‘It was stressful yeah.’
She then confessed: ‘He would have left! He would have walked out.’

Josh and Kaz’s romance started to shaky ground after he chose to couple up with her leaving his former partner Georgia Steel high and dry.
But eventually viewers warmed to the pairing – who finished third on last week’s final and exited the villa as officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
Coming out to see the series reaction on social media, Josh said: ‘A bit of criticism is an understatement, I think I was public enemy number one.’
Kaz added: ‘I wasn’t prepared, right now there’s a lot of love though, it is a bad thing that you done essentially, but at the time time people could see you have a real connection, and it all worked out in the end.
‘When we meet fans on the street they’re like ”are you and Josh still together” they ask are you in love with him? And is it real? Luckily it was all real emotions, and stuff you’re going to ask ”is it fake?”

Since leaving the villa last week, many fans have eagerly waiting to see what will happen next in Josh and Kaz’s relationship, after officially saying their loved each other just days before the show’s end.
Josh said: ‘I watched a few of the big moments, from talking to people you understand that some stuff isn’t shown. We probably see it slightly different.
Kaz added: ‘Things are really crazy, it’s important to know what the platform, we’re going to make money from it, but it’s really important you do that as well.’
