Ladies Gaelic Football at grass roots level is in line for a shake-up that could lead to a split within the sport’s governing organisation.

A number of counties, including Kerry are concerned about proposals to replace inter-county championships at youth level with two new national blitz events.

All nine Ulster counties are opposed to the plans which are due to come into effect early next year.
