Zlatko Dalic to stay as coach of Croatia’s national team after resolving ‘issues’ with the federation

- Croatia reached the World Cup final this summer, but lost 4-2 to France
The Croatian soccer federation says president Davor Suker met with Dalic to discuss the coach’s future. Dalic says in a statement he is ‘looking forward to the new challenges.’
There have been reports that Dalic could leave because of problems with the federation.

But Dalic says he and Suker ‘resolved all the issues’ during their meeting.
Dalic lead Croatia to the top of their World Cup group, before beating Denmark, Russia and England en route to the country’s first ever final.
However, they were defeated 4-2 by France, who secured their first title since winning on home turf in 1998.
Croatia lost to France 4-2 in the World Cup final in Russia.
